Christmas is a busy time for a footballer but I love it.

Some people talk about having a break but at this level, I wouldn’t want it. I love playing and you want to play as many games as possible. The more the better.

It is a great time and something that I have had all of my life to get used to. People who come into my family have also had to get used to it, like my girlfriend and my sister’s boyfriend. They have to readjust because our lives are like that.

It is going to be a tough period with the games coming up but if we can come out with a lot of points and emerge still up there, then there is a good chance we are going to be up there at the end of the season.

It would be my first time playing at Millwall if selected. I have only ever played reserve games there and a lot of the boys are excited about it. It is one of those games you want to play in.

Residents from local care homes joined us for a Christmas dinner and we met some great
people.

The food was nice but I wasn’t so keen on the bingo. It’s not a game I’ve ever done well at!
