Goalkeeper Tom Hadler has ended his loan spell with Gloucester City.
The youngster has been with the National League, South side since the middle of August.
He played 22 games for the club, ending his spell with a clean sheet and a win against Oxford City.
Hadler tweeted: “Great result to finish my loan. No doubt the boys will continue onwards and upwards from here.
“Been an absolute pleasure, thanks to everyone.”
It’s been a successful stint for the 21-year-old, being an ever present during his time at the club.
Hadler returns to compete alongside a trio of keepers at Gillingham, with Tomas Holy the current no.1, ahead of Stuart Nelson and Steve Arnold.
Midfielder Jesse Starkey, meanwhile, is set to eave the Gills when his current deal runs out later this month. He is on loan at Worthing.
Starkey was signed during Ady Pennock’s tenure but he made just one appearance off the bench for the first team, in Peter Taylor’s first game as caretaker boss.
He remains a Gills player, officially, until January 15.
*The Gills have rearranged their game at Shrewsbury Town to Tuesday, February 20 (kick off 7.45pm). The two teams were due to meet this Saturday but Shrewsbury are in FA Cup third round action.
