Gillingham boss Justin Edinburgh expects his side to bounce back against Peterborough in League 1

Justin Edinburgh is confident his Gillingham high-flyers will have no problems bouncing back from their midweek cup disappointment.
The Gills boss is hoping there is no lasting damage from Tuesday night’s 2-0 Capital One Cup defeat at Birmingham as the League 1 leaders travel to Peterborough on Saturday.
Edinburgh said: “It is a minor setback and I expect nothing but a positive response come Saturday and one that we look forward to.
“I know that character is there, no doubt about it. The players are disappointed after the defeat but that is what I expect.”
Edinburgh has fond memories of Peterborough’s London Road ground. In his first full game in charge of the Gills, his side won 2-1 back in February.
This weekend the Gills are up against a Peterborough side who have lost their last three games.
He said: “We had a fantastic result there previously, it was a good performance and we will be looking to replicate that on Saturday but we know it will be tough.
“They probably haven’t had the start they would like and will be a wounded animal but we are ourselves."
