Defeat at Wigan was totally devastating, says Gills boss Justin Edinburgh.
Their hosts fought back from 2-0 down against Gillingham to win the match 3-2 in stoppage-time.
Defeat ended a run of four straight wins for Edinburgh’s side and denied them from taking over top spot in League 1.

Edinburgh: “To lose the game as late as we did was hugely disappointing.
“We played a big part in a very entertaining game but from the position we were in, we are totally devastated to not take any points away from the game.
“We were in control. The first two goals (conceded) could have perhaps been avoided. Just a few minutes before their first goal we were taking complete control of the game.
“I think if we had of gone on another five minutes the game would have been over.”
The Gills took the lead through Dominic Samuel and went two goals ahead through Rory Donnelly.
Edinburgh said: “We took a little while to come into the game but once we found our form and our feet I thought we were very good.
“The (Samuel) goal was a great finish and it was a great ball from Dack. We scored the second one and Dack had (earlier) hit the post. We were always a threat.
“Their first goal was a hopeful ball into the box. We could do better with that. The second one is an error from Stuart Nelson but on many occasions he has won us points.”
Wigan won it with a free header from a corner.
“They are a big side,” Edinburgh said: “They threw everyone in the box and the guy has won the ball. Unfortunately for us we couldn’t see it out.”
