GLADIATORS' muscleman Cobra was the star attraction at the opening of a new shop in Chatham High Street.

After having three relocations, a children's clothing shop, MK2000, is now firmly in its place in the town centre.

The shop's owner Dalwara Dhell invited Cobra, alias Michael Willson, to help publicise the opening and make some money for charity.

The strong man from Dartford signed photographs and posed for pictures with fans to raise money for the children's hospice Demelza House.

He said: "I think that hospices should be given money by the government, not just rely on donations and fundraising.

"They are a much needed facility and I'm happy to help with the donations."
