Over 40 charities will get a boost to their funds thanks to the KM Big Bike Ride.
But there’s still time for more charities and fundraising cyclists to sign up and get involved.
Riders who saddle up on Sunday, April 27 can take part just for the fun of it or to raise money for their favourite charity.
Event organiser Nancy Clark said: “Last year, 260 friends, family members and work colleagues took up the 65-mile challenge. This year, we’ve introduced an additional easier route to encourage leisure riders, so we’re hoping for even more people to join in this brilliant day out.”
KM Charity Team chief executive Simon Dolby added: “You too can promote your company, have a team-building day and raise money for your chosen charity. The KM Big Bike Ride is great fun and great for businesses.”
Cyclists can take on the 65-mile version or opt for the more relaxed 27-mile route. Sponsored by Vattenfall and Burgess Hodgson, the ride starts and ends in Whitstable and takes in the surrounding coastline and countryside.
