Key partners Gabor Horvath and Ryan Shaw of Biketart announce support of 2017 KM Big Bike Ride which is now open for booking.

Book your place on the KM Big Bike Ride by 31 October and be in with a chance of winning a one day bike maintenance course.

There are three places up for grabs to learn new skills including gear and brake set up and puncture repairs.

The 2017 ride, supported by Vattenfall, will start and finish at Betteshanger Park, Deal on Sunday, 23 April and will include electronic chip timing and a free sportive photo.

The two routes, designed by Locks of Sandwich, give a choice of a gentle 50km ride or a more challenging 100km ride via East Kent coast and countryside. You can ride just for fun or raise money for your favorite cause. The maintenance course is being organised by Biketart, Canterbury.

Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team, which stages the KM Big Bike Ride said: "Cycling is a great way to get fit and healthy and the KM Big Bike Ride has routes to cater for both the less experienced and more seasoned riders. Learning how to handle even complex elements of bike maintenance can give a rider added confidence. The KM Big Bike Ride team are so pleased Biketart.com are offering three riders the chance to learn these tricks of the trade for free."
