The event which is being staged at the Stour Centre, Ashford on Friday, October 10 is set to be a highlight of the quiz calendar.

One lucky brainiac will win £500 on the night with the KM Cash Builder for correctly answering an on-the-spot question.

Quiz sponsor Barclays will boost the charity pot by matching the money raised from raffle tickets and refreshments at the charity bar pound for pound up to £1,000.

Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “With Barclays’ pledge to match funds raised, and some amazing prizes to be won, there’s no better time to get a quiz team together. Why not gather for a fun battle of the brainiacs and give these charities a real boost?”

Funds raised will be shared between the Ashford Foodbank, Kent Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, KM Walk to School and road safety training for children.

Price per team of eight is £65 inclusive of a drink on arrival, ploughman’s dinner, entry into a prize draw to win a P&O Ferry ticket, and bottle of wine on the table.
