Residents at Taylor Wimpey's Repton Park development in Ashford certainly have quite an unusual place to take a rest when out for a walk.
The developer commissioned a wildlife themed bench, with a dormice and blackberries as a talking point for the estate.
The bench was made by a business in West Sussex which has also made items for Kew Gardens. For those not keen on rodents, however cute, there is also a mushroom-shaped table and a log bench.
All of the homes in the current phase at Repton Park are now reserved but you can register an interest in the next phase of properties, Monarch Gardens, this summer.
Taylor Wimpey's Jason Stokes said: "We wanted to commission a really interesting sculpture which also had the practical use as a seat, and we couldn't be more pleased with the finished dormouse bench. It is an eye-catching piece and a real talking point."
The sales room is in Sir Henry Brackenbury Road, off Templer Way, Ashford.
It is open daily from 10am to 5pm.
