11:15, 12 December 2014
The New Year could be a new start for the hard worker who buys this three-bedroom house at auction.
The three-bedroom house in Canadian Avenue, Gillingham, needs refurbishment.
It has a guide price of £100,000 to £110,000. A similar house on the same road, where refurbishment work had been carried out, recently sold for £187,000.
The property goes under the hammer at Clive Emson’s next auction, at the Clive Emson Conference Centre, Kent County Showground, Maidstone, at 11am on Monday, December 15.
At the same auction, buyers will bid for a semi-detached house at Greenway, Chatham.
The three-bedroom house needs improvement and there is scope to extend at the back, subject to permission. It has a freehold guide price of £140,000 to £145,000.
Auctioneer John Stockey said: “It has front and back gardens and a parking area and we expect interest from builders, developers and owner-occupiers.”
Other lots include a house in Albert Road, Chatham, which is a mid-terrace, two-bedroom house in need of improvement. It is being offered vacant with a freehold guide price of £100,000 to £105,000.
