If you're looking for a job in Kent, an event in May will really help you along the way.
KentJobs Fair Canterbury will take place on Wednesday, May 15 at Canterbury College between 9am and 2pm and is a brilliant way for job seekers to meet multiple representatives on the same day.
The fair, which is in association with KentJobs and The Kentish Gazette and is also promoted by the East Kent College (EKC) Group, will also give those in attendance the opportunity to speak to exhibitors about training, apprenticeships, volunteering and self-employment.
Other benefits include the chance to network, collect application forms or even be interviewed on the spot at some stands.

Events like the KentJobs Fair Canterbury have been growing in stature because they have proven very successful not only for entry level candidates but also those seeking people at the first steps of their careers.
“This event is a fantastic opportunity for people about to make that first leap into the job market or those seeking an opportunity to advance their careers in a variety of different sectors,” said Neil Webster who is Commercial Director of the KM Media Group.
“Admittance if free and attendees will have the chance to meet and speak with recruiters and employers as well as officials from a number of different organisations and educational institutes.
“KM Media Group has always had the people of Kent at heart and we are especially proud to link up with the EKC Group for what is a brilliant initiative.”
KentJobs Fair Canterbury can also be beneficial to attendees seeking part-time work or those considering a totally different career path.
Some of the best tips for those looking to attend the fair include bringing copies of their CVs, being prepared for possible ‘mini’ interviews, and speaking confidently and clearly with someone face-to-face to build trust.
“I’m delighted our College is working in partnership with KM Media Group to deliver the inaugural KentJobs Fair on May 15," added Canterbury College Principal Lucy McLeod.
"It’s a great idea that will be really beneficial to our local community as well as a range of employers working across Kent.
"It’ll also be wonderful for our students to see the opportunities available in the Canterbury district and beyond."
