Part-time jobs at new up-market coffee house
17:23, 01 February 2002
SEVEN part-time jobs have been created with the opening of a new up-market coffee house in Sittingbourne. The Bay Leaf is in Roman Square, off the High Street, and is owned by former Benefits Agency fraud investigator Beverley Rickett.
Mrs Rickett said: "Local MP Derek Wyatt is always saying that Sittingbourne needs more upmarket facilities - so that is why we have opened.
"Senior citizens will appreciate coming here because they will get a 10 per cent discount from Mondays to Fridays between 9am-11.30am and 2-4pm."
