Relief road scheme brings more jobs
00:00, 04 July 2002
A LARGE number of jobs will be created when the building of the Denton Relief Road at Gravesend gets underway next year.
Councillors have heaped priaise on the project that will bring both more jobs and business into the town, and redirect large vehicles from narrow residential roads.
Cllr Lyn Milner said: "As a ward member I must say it's long awaited. The road will be greatly welcomed."
Work on the project is due to start before March 2003.
