AA members should carry second form of ID
00:00, 28 September 2001
MEMBERS of the AA who break down are being reminded that they must produced their membership card and a second form of ID. It comes as the AA tries to stamp out unauthorised use of their service - a problem which accounts for some 100,000 calls received every year.
Steve Dewey, deputy director of AA Road Services, said: "We believe that by tightening up procedures we can keep future membership costs down and give genuine members a more efficient service."
