03:19, 29 August 2001
THE Punto Go is a sporty special edition version of Fiat Auto's best-selling Punto supermini.
It is based on the 1.2-litre 8v three-door version, but has a number of additional standard features, as well as electric windows, central locking and driver and passenger airbags. They include rev counter, trip computer, aluminium-effect centre console, contoured sports seats, six-speaker radio cassette, body-colour bumpers, sporty wheel trims and split-folding rear seats.
The car is available in a number of existing Punto colours, but can also be ordered with two new ones called Blue Metro and Metallic Black. Other colours are Tiziano Red, Black, Metallic Teseo Blue, Metallic Steel Grey and Metallic Astral Blue. Interior trim is in grey cloth.
The Punto Go also benefits from nought per cent finance over three years with a 30 per cent deposit.
All Fiat cars now come with a three-year warranty and roadside service package, made up of a one-year unlimited mileage manufacturer warranty, a second and third year dealer warranty with a mileage limit of 60,000 from the date of first registration and three years' Fiat AA Assurance cover. The three-door Punto Go is £7,850.95 on the road.
