A TANKER carrying about 70,000 tonnes of gas oil has become the second ship to collide with the wreck of the car carrier the Tricolor in the Channel off Ramsgate.
The 22-year-old Turkish-registered Vicky was stuck for almost three hours on top of the Tricolor which sank two weeks ago.
The collison has called maritime safety in the world's busiest shipping lane into question.
Maritime experts say the Tricolor could continue to be an obstacle for months to come.
