Train failure causes commuter misery
08:56, 04 January 2006
RAIL commuters face major disruptions this morning after an early morning train service travelling from Gatwick airport failed.
The 5.54am Gatwick to Tonbridge service stopped at Edenbridge at about 6.30am.
Although a replacement bus service has been provided, the faulty train is yet to be removed.
There was reportedly a similar incident on yesterday evening at about 6.30pm when another train failed on the same section of track.
