Sky Broadband customers in Cornwall have been left without broadband after the firm’s internet services went down.
Users took to social media on Friday morning to report issues with their home broadband.
The official Sky Help Team Twitter account then confirmed an issue in the region which was being investigated.
“NEW: Cornwall: We’re aware that some customers in the area are reporting an amber internet light on their router. Our support teams are currently investigating this issue,” the company’s message said.
“You can keep up to date on the My Sky App or via our service status page.”
According to service status monitoring website Down Detector, Sky Broadband customers began reporting issues just before 7am on Friday, with more than 90% reporting their issue was linked to their internet connection.
The website suggests other parts of the South West, including customers in parts of Devon and Bristol, also had issues.
The outage comes as the majority of the UK works from home during the coronavirus lockdown.
Many users reporting problems said they were unable to work properly from home because of the outage.
Sky has not yet commented further on the incident.
