A supermarket is recalling eight items for babies and toddlers amid safety concerns.
Asda, which has stores across Kent, has issued a product recall notice for a range of its sleep bags.
Eight bags, which parents can use in place of blankets to ensure covers don’t rise over a child’s head, are being recalled by the retailer.
They include some of its Disney-themed range with sleep bags featuring characters including Stitch, The Lion King and Dumbo and are for a mix of ages from newborns through to three-year-olds.
In a message on its website, Asda explained it was recalling the items due to a risk that the ‘snap buttons’ on the bags could become loose and may detach.
Any family which has bought one of the affected items is asked to stop using it immediately and return it to their nearest Asda for a full refund. You won’t need a receipt to get your money back.
