Nearly 400 homes were left without power this afternoon on Romney Marsh.
The outage was been caused by a high voltage overhead electricity line fault, which was investigated by UK Power Networks.
The company says it was first alerted to the issue at 2.25pm and send engineers to the scene.
In total there were 385 homes without power in Lydd, Lydd on Sea, Dungeness, Old Romney and Brookfield.
A statement from UK Power Networks read: "We became aware of this power cut at 2.25pm.
"We’re sorry for any disruption this may have caused you.
"We didn’t know in advance there would be a power cut, but now that we know, our teams will do everything they can to get your power back quickly.
"Engineers in our control room have switched some customers power back on in your area.
"To get everyone’s power back on we may need to attend to investigate and make repairs."
Just after 4pm they posted this update: "We've managed to restore power to a further 354 supplies by remotely diverting power.
"There are now 31 properties still affected, so your power may have come on sooner than we originally advised."
