Man arrested on suspicion of possessing knife and cannabis at Marlie Holiday Park, New Romney

Almost 10 police cars reportedly descended on a Kent holiday park on Sunday, after reports of a disturbance on Romney Marsh.
A man in his 20s was arrested at a Marlie Holiday Park, where he was suspected of being in possession of a knife and a class B drug.
Police were called just before 10pm to Dymchurch Road, New Romney.
Reports on social media suggest nine police cars attended the scene, where officers arrested the 26-year-old on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and cannabis.
He was held in police custody, but has now been released pending further enquiries.
