Police have arrested three people after a suspected cannabis farm was discovered in New Romney.
Patrols were sent to a home in Carey Close yesterday evening, where officers seized a quantity of cannabis, as well as scales, and associated growing equipment.
A 40-year-old woman, an 18-year-old man, and a 48-year-old man, all from the New Romney area, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
They have been released pending further enquiries.
Det Sgt Nicky Holland-Day said: "Our officers will not tolerate drug-related criminality and we recognise the negative impact it can have on a community.
"We remind residents that if they believe drug-taking or supplying is taking place in their local street, or in an area near to them, call us to report it on 101.
"The information you provide is important and will assist officers in identifying any areas of concern, and will ultimately ensure Shepway remains a safe place to live and work."
