Motorcyclist dies after Triumph bike and VW crash on A2070 Romney Marsh

A 79-year-old motorcyclist has died after being seriously injured in a crash.
The man died after his bike collided with a car on the A2070 on Romney Marsh.
The road was closed between Snave and Hamstreet, south of Ashford, following the crash on Sunday.
The victim's white Triumph motorbike and a black Volkswagen collided at around 10.20am.
Police and ambulance services attended, but the motorcyclist was later pronounced deceased.
Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision or either vehicle travelling in the area from around 10am onwards.
In particular, anyone who was in the area at the time and who has any dashcam footage is urged to contact SCIU on 01622 798538 or email sciu.td@kent.police.uk, quoting reference SM/COJ/097/20.
