Man cut from car after crash in Ashford Road, New Romney

A man has been cut from his car after a crash.
The accident, which happened in Ashford Road, New Romney, at 2.45pm prompted a response from all emergency services.
Crews in two fire engines used hydraulic rescue gear to remove the roof and free the man.
He was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.
Ambulance spokesman Richard Airey said: "I can confirm ambulance crews attended the scene and one patient, suffering from back and leg pain, was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford."
