Dungeness Road reopened after driver cut out of vehicle

Emergency services have reopened a section of road following a single car crash.
A car is understood to have left Dungeness Road, near the junction with Kerton Road in Dungeness.
Police and ambulance services are attending the incident alongside two fire engines.
Fire crews were forced to use hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the front door of the car to rescue the driver.
The driver, a woman who was understood to be complaining about back pain, is understood to have been taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
The road remained closed for some time but has now been reopened.
