A van driver has died in hospital following a crash in New Romney earlier this month.
The 73-year-old died 11 days after the accident at 7pm on June 7 along the A259 Romney Road in New Romney.
It involved a white Ford Escort van and a silver Peugeot 206 car.
The two occupants of the Peugeot suffered minor injuries.
Detective sergeant Scott Lynch said: “What we know at the moment is that the Escort van was travelling from the direction of Brenzett towards New Romney.
"As it passed the junction to Lydd this vehicle has lost control colliding with a Silver Peugeot 206 which was travelling in the opposite direction.
“Sadly, the driver of the van died from his injuries in hospital.
“We would urge anyone who may have seen the collision, or the vehicles prior to the collision to contact us.”
