Where and when is the party happening?

Connected Festival will take place from 6pm on Saturday, October 5 to 6am the next day at London Ashford Airport, also known as Lydd Airport, in Lydd, Romney Marsh TN29 9QL.

More than 100 DJs and performers will play drum and base, dance and hosue music across five stages.

Who can attend?

Only persons over 18 can attend the festival, although a challenge 25 policy will be in place, so guests should take ID.

How much are tickets?

Standard tickets are currently on sale for £45, plus booking fee. There are also VIP tickets available from £65, plus a booking fee.

Visit here to purchase tickets.

What can I take?

Small bags are allowed, but bigger bags are not as there are no cloakroom or storage facilities.

But as bags will be searched on entry, organisers advise that you do not bring a bag at all to avoid long queues.

What else will be there, other than music and dance stages?

A host of food and drink stalls will be available at the festival, although full details of this are yet to be revealed.

There will also be an outdoor cinema screen showing footage of raves from the past.

How do I get there and can I stay over?

There will be no camping facilities, but there will be a car park. Revellers can also catch a coach from the Ashford International Station.

Tickets for both can be purchased here.

Who is behind the festival and what do they have to say?

Connected Festival has been organised by Rohan Mulvaney, from Dymchurch, alongside Martin Hackney and James Tovey, who say they want to bring together old and new sounds from the genre.

Mr Mulvaney said: "The Lydd Airport venue was famous for hosting the legendary 'World Dance' raves in the 1990s with the organisers being universally recognised as the 'best in the business' for that time period.

"It is our ambition to bring to life the nostalgia associated with the Lydd Airport venue and pull together the 'old school' and 'new school' sound in a well-rounded production.

"Our vision is to create an all-night music festival taking it back to the concept of the original rave scene that has for the last ten years mainly delivered daytime events.

"We feel that the 2019 Connected festival will generate all that has been missing within this music scene for many years."
