Man attacked with metal bar by mob at The Green in Lydd on Romney Marsh as Kent Police appeal for witnesses

A 47-year-old man was attacked by a mob of men and women with a metal bar after a clash in Lydd.
The victim was reportedly smacked with the bar and punched in the face after he was targeted at The Green in Lydd at 9pm on the evening of Saturday, September 13.
Now officers are hoping to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the attack.
Investigating officer PC James Richards said: "We have carried out enquiries in the local area but we need to speak to anyone else who may have witnessed the incident."
