Man suffered burns as car found on fire at home in Lydd High Street

A man is being treated for burns after a vehicle was found in flames on a driveway.
The blaze happened last night in Lydd High Street.
Fire crews attended the scene at around 10.30pm.
They discovered the vehicle completely alight and a man suffering from burns was treated by paramedics.
Firefighters made the scene safe while preserving it, as the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
The man was transferred to hospital for treatment and no one else was injured in the incident.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 10.30pm to a report that a car had caught fire and a man had suffered burns.
"Kent Police and Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended and are carrying out inquiries to establish how the fire started."
