Motorcyclist dies in Snave near New Romney following collision with car on A2070

A man his 70s has died after a motorcycle crash near New Romney.
Police are appealing for information following the two-vehicle collision, which happened shortly after 5pm on the A2070 in Snave on May 28.
Emergency services attended the scene when the man, who was riding a black BMW R1250 motorcycle, was involved in a collision with a silver Jaguar XF car.
He was taken to a London hospital but a police spokesman said he died last night.
His next of kin has been informed.
A 52-year-old man from the Romney Marsh area was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police are urging anyone who saw the collision, or either of the vehicles beforehand, to contact 01622 798538, quoting reference HW/DGC/056/23.
