Four people in New Romney have struck gold after winning cash prizes thanks to their postcode.
The Littlestone Road neighbours each won a £1,000 prize in the People's Postcode Lottery.
The windfall came when TN28 8LR was announced as a daily prize winner this morning.
People's Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: "What a nice surprise to start the day! Congratulations to all our lucky winners."
The lottery draw aims to donate a minimum of 32% of ticket sales to charity, hand has so far raised £486 million for causes around Britain.
This draw was promoted by Canal & River Trust which has received over £8.1 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
It protects and maintains over 2,000 miles of canals and rivers across England & Wales, providing access to clean green spaces where they are needed the most.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players support, and the next opportunity local charities will have to apply for funding will be early next year.
