Two seriously hurt in crash in St Mary's Bay, New Romney

A man is fighting for his life after a car swerved into a ditch and ploughed into trees in New Romney.
A woman was also seriously hurt in the crash in Jefferstone Lane, St Mary's Bay just before 6pm yesterday.
The man, in his early 20s, was flown to King's College Hospital in London with a serious head injury. He remains in a critical condition.
The woman, also in her early 20s, was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford with injuries to her hip and leg.
Police say the dark blue Vauxhall Astra hatchback was travelling along Jefferstone Lane from the A259 Dymchurch Road towards St Mary in the Marsh, when it left the road and ended up in a ditch, before crashing into trees.
Police, paramedics, firefighters and the air ambulance were called.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle travelling along the A259 and Jefferstone Lane between 5.30pm and 5.50pm to get in contact.
