More than 100 people were affected by a power cut this afternoon.
Affected areas included Dymchurch, Burmarsh, St Mary's Bay, St Mary in the Marsh, Ivychurch and Newchurch, all on Romney Marsh.
The fault was reported at 7.21am but UK Power Networks said it was not expected to be fixed for another four to five hours.
A report from UK Power Networks said: "We were investigating a high voltage overhead electricity line fault which caused a power cut in the local area.
We're sorry for any disruption this may be causing you.
"We estimate the power will be back on between 5.30pm-6.30pm.
"We may be able to get some customers on sooner."
But the power was restored by 3.35pm.
