Raid spate sees seven homes targeted overnight in New Romney and Littlestone

A string of burglaries where a car, money, and electrical equipment were snatched as people slept in their homes have been linked by police.
Thieves raided homes in Ryswick Mews, Richmond Drive, Carey Close, Mabledown Close and Church Road, in New Romney, between Thursday and Friday.
In Littlestone, burglaries were reported in Queens Road and St Nicholas Road.
An Audi was also stolen from outside a home in Mabledown Road.
Electrical equipment, handbags, phones and wallets were targeted, with some items being discovered after being dumped nearby.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
Detective Constable Rebecca Mross said: "We have received seven reports of burglaries or attempted burglaries to date and we are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.
"We are also appealing for witnesses to contact us, so if you saw anyone acting suspiciously or suspicious vehicles in the area on Thursday night we would like to hear from you.
"We would also like to hear from anyone with CCTV footage that could help with the investigation."
