Fans of drum and bass, house and garage partied at a music festival at an airport yesterday.
Connected Festival saw around 4,500 party people flock to Lydd Airport on Romney Marsh to enjoy scores of acts across five stages.
Ravers took over Lydd Airport for the second Connected Festival
The event was first staged in 2019 in the hope of bringing back the nostalgia of raves at the airport in the 90s, but the pandemic meant repeats couldn't be hosted for two years.
This year's festival featured performances from the likes of Nathan Dawe, Hybrid Minds, Kings of the Rollers, Sigma, Sub Focus, Artful Dodger, Danny Howard, DJ EZ, Wideboys and So Solid Crew.
Event organiser Rohan Mulvaney said: "Yesterday's event went extremely well, 4,500 attended with the sun shining down.
"A great opening to the festival season.
"Early feedback has been positive and overwhelming which reflects the whole vibe on the day.
"The quality of production and sound was uncompromising with our headline acts making this one to remember, it really does feel like the Connected brand has landed."
As well as performances across the stages - Ministry of Sound, Garage Nation, Breakin Science and Epidemik, plus a VIP stage - a bar and food stalls were also set up.
Guests arrived from 11am and partied until midnight, while also chilling on the grassy areas throughout the day.
The airport was live throughout the event, with aircrafts seen leaving during the day.
Another Connected Festival is already planned for 2023.
