Boy's face 'fractured and swollen' after a stone hit his face in Dunes Road, Greatstone

A boy’s face was fractured in two places, bruised and swollen after a stone struck him in an alleged assault.
The police are appealing for more information after the incident, which happened in Dunes Road, Greatstone, in Romney Marsh.
A group of children were walking along the road when an object, possibly a stone, was thrown from a nearby wooded area.
A police spokesman said: “He reported facial injuries described as two fractures, bruising and swelling and went to a local hospital for medical attention.”
The incident happened on Monday, January 23.
