Two missing school children were returned to the classroom after being found by police.
The pupils left Greatstone Primary School, on the Romney Marsh, yesterday afternoon.
Concern for their welfare was raised before they were found in the local area and returned to the school.
Both children were found to be fit and well.
They were returned to the school in Baldwin Road by a PCSO for the area and a police constable.
A social media post by a PCSO states: "Assistance came from a member of the public who had seen the children and was concerned for their welfare. Without that all important call we may have spent hours and used many resources looking for them.
"Thank you to whomever you were who called this in.
"Remember, if you feel something is suspicious, out of place or simply just not right Live Chat with us, ring 101 or if you deem it an emergency dial 999.
"We will not criticise well-intentioned calls - we are here to serve and protect."
