Romney Marsh crash leaves woman in hospital

A woman is in hospital after a serious crash which saw her car leave the road and collide with a tree.
The incident involving a blue Vauxhall Astra took place on Old Ashford Road, near Brenzett and New Romney, around 1.40pm yesterday.
The driver, in her 20s, was taken to a London hospital by air ambulance, where her condition is understood to be serious but stable.
Police officers are working to establish the circumstances of the collision.
They have appealed for a cyclist and the occupants of a small dark hatchback car who were in the area at the time, as well as anyone else who may have seen or have dashcam footage of the Vauxhall Astra, to contact them.
