Beauty salon Bliss in Eastry is expanding its business to new premises

A beauty salon in Eastry is expanding its business after five successful years.

Gemma Dale, 27, runs Bliss Salon, and has now opened a new premises in The Parade after moving from The Cross.

Mrs Dale, of Poulders Gardens, Sandwich, specialises in gel nails, facials, manicures, pedicures, tanning, massage and waxing.

She said: “It’s bigger and better and I’ve taken on a member of staff. There will be more footfall as its more in the centre of Eastry.”

She has hired Milly Eason who specialises in acrylic nails. This is the first time she hasn’t worked alone since she opened the business.

She said: “For years I’ve wanted to get someone but I thought I should wait until we’re more well established. Now it’s about time I got someone else in here.”

She said her husband Bradley has supported her all the way.

“He gave me the push to do the best thing I have ever done. It’s been pressured but its worth it.”

Bliss Salon is now at 1 The Parade, High Street, Eastry.
