Body found in River Stour after search for missing man from Sandwich

A body has been found in a river following a search for a missing man from Sandwich.
Police believe it to be that of Paul Goodwin, although formal identification is yet to take place.
The 61-year-old was last seen on Sunday, March 20.
In a statement today, officers say a body was found in the River Stour near Sandwich yesterday afternoon.
A spokesman said: "Formal identification has not yet taken place, however, the family of a 61-year-old man from Sandwich who was reported missing on Sunday 20 March 2022 have been informed.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner."
