A boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
Police and ambulance crews were called this morning to New Street, Sandwich, after reports a car had collided with a pedestrian.
The child, who is of secondary school age, was taken to a local hospital following the incident.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
New Street was closed for almost two hours between Galliard Street and St George's Road while emergency services worked at the scene.
The road was reopened shortly after 10am.
