Five caravans have been targeted in a series of thefts in Sandwich and Eastry.
A resident of Woodnesborough Road in Sandwich posted an appeal on Facebook after a neighbours' caravan was stolen.
The post asks people to keep a look-out for any caravans being sold in the hope it can be found.
Kent Police has confirmed officers are investigating the theft of a caravan that was attached to a car on the driveway of a house in Woodnesborough Road.
Officers are also investigating the theft of two sat navs from two cars at the Four Winds Caravan Park in Eastry around the same time, overnight between Thursday, January 1 and Friday, January 2.
Four caravans were also broken into and a number of items stolen.
Police spokesman Jon Green said: “Police are investigating these as separate incidents but considering the possibility they were committed by the same offenders.”
