A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a lorry on the Sandwich Bypass.
The accident happened at around 8.30am, prompting police to shut the A256 in both directions.
Emergency crews including two paramedic cars, an ambulance and the air ambulance were called.
The motorcyclist was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford with chest and arm injuries.
Traffic was diverted through Sandwich, causing severe delays in surrounding roads.
The road reopened just before 10am and traffic has now cleared.
A police spokesman said earlier: "Kent Police was called at 8.25am on Friday 25 August 2017 following a collision involving a lorry and a motorcycle on the A256 Sandwich Bypass.
"Officers are at the scene where the motorcyclist is being treated by ambulance staff.
