A female drink-driver from Sandwich has been banned from driving for 38 months.
Kimberley Austen, of Church Street, was caught behind the wheel of her Renault Clio in London Road, Deal, on November 26 this year.
The 33-year-old gave a breath test of 43 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
She was sentenced at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 14, where she pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrates banned Austen from driving for 38 months.
She must also pay a £350 fine, a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £35 victim surcharge.
Her disqualification may be reduced by 292 days if, by February 26, 2018, she satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
