A ‘wear your pyjamas to nursery day’ was topped off with an Easter bonnet parade for youngsters at Bubbles Nursery in Sandwich.
Wearing their colourful jim jams and comfy onesies, the two to four year olds paraded around the nursery donning their hand made headpieces in front of their mums and dads.
After some careful judging, first prize was awarded to two-year-old Blue Lowther. Lilly Beer, also two, picked up second prize with Bella Fraser, four, coming third.
Staff say it is their favourite event of the year. Manager Stacey Major said: “Lots of effort was put in by both the children and their families in making these bonnets.
“I would like to say a big thank you to all of the children, parents and staff for their continuous hard work and effort to ensure that the Easter bonnets were a huge success as always.”
All of the children received a small present for their efforts.
