Firefighters from Deal tackled a blaze at an animal feed store in Wingham yesterday (Friday).
They were called at around 3pm to Staple Road and three fire engines were in attendance.
The fire in a hopper was caused by heat build up in the agricultural machinery.
Firefighter Shane Gibon said: "It was basically just a heat build up on a complicated agricultural food process. It was not a large fire but there was a lot of smoke."
It took three hours to put out the fire, using a hose reel jet, fans and thermal imaging cameras to ensure the flames had not spread.
