Firefighters tackled blazes involving 10 cars last night.
Crews from Deal were called to seven cars "well alight" at Sandwich Industrial Estate at 6pm.
Two fire engines were on the scene at the multi-car fire.
Crew manager Paul Copley said: "They were scrap cars but somehow they caught alight. They were burnt to a shell."
Fire crews using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet put out the blaze and were on the scene for 30 minutes.
Later that night, crews were called out again to a car fire in Ripple, near Deal, at 10.45pm.
This was a privately owned vehicle in Sutton Lane and police were on the scene to investigate.
Dover fire crews also attended two fires, one of which was the result of a car accident.
An RTC in Forge Lane, Sutton, caused one of the engines of the vehicles involved to catch fire.
Using a hose reel jet, it took 30 minutes for crews to extinguish the blaze.
Another car was burning in Astor Avenue in Dover at 2am this morning (Sunday).
Crew manager Jason Lahaye said: "The vehicle was well alight. They used a couple of hoses to put it out.
"This one is looking like it might be malicious."
