Girl hit by vehicle in Sandwich

A girl suffered head and leg injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Sandwich.
An air ambulance was scrambled following the accident, which happened at around 4.20pm yesterday, Wednesday, May 9.
The casualty was initially treated at the scene before being taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury by road ambulance.
The air ambulance headquarters received the call at 4.18pm and took 21 minutes to respond.
No other details were available.
