A gang of hooligans wearing hoodies trashed the home of a teenager after literally gatecrashing her 18th birthday party.
Yob Tyler Crane, 19, and his pals smashed their way through a gate and into a house in Sandwich in November last year terrorising partygoers.
They then threatened guests with a knife and broken bottles, smashed furniture, smeared walls with pizza before jumping on a car parked nearby.
Now a judge has told the 19 year old: “You were uninvited and you literally gatecrashed it.. and I make no pun by saying that!
“Your behaviour was appalling and I have been told that people frankly acted like animals at the party!
“The account I have been told is quite probably the worst account of an affray that I have ever heard!”
Crane, who is already serving a sentence for a homophobic attack, was given a 12 month sentence in a Young Offender’s Institute.
He admitted a charge of affray, two offences of causing criminal damage and two offences of common assault – all committed while on bail for previous offences.
Canterbury Crown Court heard how the gang of thugs “ran amok” after getting into the private party.
Crane, of The Parade, Birchington, was challenged by a guest and produced a knife and threatened “to cut” the man and his friend.
The fighting then spilled into the front garden when a bottle was smashed by Crane and then thrown through the front living room window before he jumped on the bonnet of a parked car, the court heard.
Judge Heather Norton said he had caused distress to the other partygoers and Crane and the rest of the hoodie gang had behaved “like hooligans”.
In November last year Crane was given a sentence after he was spotted hurling homophobic abuse at two women walking down the street before swinging a wooden plank with nails towards them.
He was sentenced to 18 months in a young offenders institution and was due to be freed shortly but will now serve the 12 month sentence.
