Man arrested after theft of cash box from St Peter's Church in Sandwich

A 45-year-old man has been arrested after the theft of a cash box from a Sandwich church.
The reported theft from St Peter’s Church in Market Street took place on Sunday, February 19.
Police investigating the incident arrested a man from the Dover area on suspicion of theft on Friday.
He has been bailed until May 10 while inquiries continue.
